The training centre contains a large full-sized maintenance training hangar and cockpit systems part-task trainer, a full flight simulator, a cockpit procedural trainer, a sensor station for rear crew training, mission planning, and brief / debrief rooms. Training is supplemented through virtual maintenance trainer stations. The building is also home to 19 Wing’s officers, instructors, and an administration department.

This high-tech training centre is certified LEED Silver.

Figurr acted as the principal consultant, managing a multidisciplinary team of structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers, an independent LEED consultant, and an envelope consultant.
